Privacy notice
Plain answers about what this website collects, who handles it for us, and what we do with it. "We" means Construction Washington LLC, doing business as Washington Construction, in Mount Vernon, Washington.

The short version
- When you send a request, we get what you type into the form. We use it to answer you and, if we work together, for your project.
- This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics.
- We don't sell or rent your details, and we never send marketing text messages.
What the form collects
When you send a request, we collect what you type: the kind of work, your town and county, your description of the project, your name, your phone number and/or email, how you'd like us to reach you, and how you heard about us.
The form also sends the page you sent it from, any campaign tag in the link you followed to get here (for example, from our Google profile), and the time the page was opened, which helps us filter out automated spam. To limit how many requests can come from one connection, our server keeps a salted one-way hash of your IP address (a scrambled code, never the address itself) with the times of your recent requests, and a daily clean-up deletes it once it has gone unused for two hours. We never ask for your street address on the form.
What we use it for
We use your details to answer your request and set up a site visit, and, if we work together, for your project. After a finished project we may email you once to ask for a review, with one reminder. Reply STOP to any of our emails and we won't email you again.
Where it goes, and who handles it for us
Your request is emailed to our company mailbox, gc@wa.construction. A copy is kept on our web server for 12 months, then deleted, so a request isn't lost if an email goes astray.
We use service providers to run our website hosting, email, phone system and the software, including AI tools, that helps us read and sort requests and draft replies. A person reviews every reply before it is sent. These providers handle your details for us and for no other purpose.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard access logs (such as the page requested, the time, and the IP address) for about two months (our host keeps the current and the previous month), for security and to fix problems.
Phone calls
When our AI assistant answers, it tells you it is an AI and that the call is recorded and transcribed. Calls are handled by our phone provider and by speech-to-text and AI services. Recordings and transcripts are kept for 1 year.
No selling or renting
We don't sell or rent your details, and we don't share them with anyone else for their own use.
No marketing texts
We never send marketing text messages. If you ask us to text you about your project, those texts are one-to-one replies about that project only.
Children
This site is for people planning construction work. It isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed: email gc@wa.construction.
- To stop emails from us: reply STOP to any of them.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version appears on this page with its effective date.
