What this covers

Panel upgrades and service changes

When a house needs room for a heat pump, an EV charger, a shop or an addition, the panel and the service coming into it are the first question. We look at what you have and what you want to add, then write up the change line by line.

EV charger circuits at home

A dedicated circuit for a Level 2 charger in a garage, carport or driveway, placed where you actually park. Already bought the charger? We wire for it. Haven't bought one yet? We'll talk through what your panel can support before you do.

Circuits for heat pumps

We run the circuits for a new heat pump, working alongside your HVAC installer, or as part of a remodel or addition we're running.

Generator connections

An inlet for a portable generator, or transfer equipment for a standby unit, so you can power the circuits you choose during an outage.

Wiring for remodels, additions, ADUs, and garages and shops at a home

New circuits, lighting, and indoor and outdoor receptacles for the space you're adding or changing. On our own remodels and additions, the electrical can stay with us under our residential license.

How we handle an electrical job

Every job starts with a site visit. We look at the panel and the service, ask how you use the space, and write a scope that lists each circuit and device. Changes go in a signed change order before the work changes. When we're done, we walk it with you, show you what's labeled where in the panel, and hand over the documents.

Questions people ask

Do you do commercial electrical?

No. Our electrical license is residential, so we only take electrical work at homes: houses, ADUs, and garages and shops that belong to a home.

Can my panel take an EV charger or a heat pump?

It depends on the panel and the service you have now. We check both at the site visit and tell you plainly what we find, including when a panel upgrade has to come first.

Do you do the electrical on a bigger project?

On our residential projects (remodels, additions, ADUs and new homes) the electrical can stay with us under our residential license, so you deal with one contractor.

Can you connect a generator?

Yes, at a home: an inlet for a portable generator, or transfer equipment for a standby unit. At the visit we look at what you want to keep running and at your panel.
